Is there any reason to convert religion if I have +3 tolerance?

I'm looking to start a France colonization game, and if I take Humanism plus the National Idea Liberty, Egality, Fraternity, then I'll easily have +3 tolerance of heathens and heretics - So would there be any advantage to converting my future Maya, Inti, Sunni, Hindu and (post-Reformation) Catholic provinces?

+3 is the max for heretic/heathen tolerance, but you may end up with even higher true-faith tolerance. Also, there are some things you can only do to right-religion provinces, such as convert their culture.

Most religions have their own unique systems and benefits on top of their base stats. Christians have some of the best. Catholicism has the Curia, Papal influence, and Papal controller. Protestantism has interchangeable aspects, and Reformed has fervor and focuses.

France can make good use out of all three systems, but it can get relatively more out of Catholic (high development, high base tax), but if you want the most out of Catholic you're better off with Religious rather than Humanist and converting provinces as much as possible.

Hello, is there a limitation due to religion/government to having a queen consort? I'm playing as Tabarestan and had none in 60 years, even though I always have at least two RM.
I had no consort in 200 years of Nagaur-Hindustan with 3-4 RM all the time, so I am starting to ask myself if there isn't a limitation.
Not with religion however, I had consorts with Kilwa. Maybe with culture, but this is really weird that India/Persia can't have, while eastern Africa can. Is there any historical reason?

Yes. Tabarestan starts the game with the Iqta government, which by deliberate design does not use the consort mechanics.

I'm not seeing any strong reason to favour Catholic as France here, as compared to 'generic major European power'. Contrast with say Castile (best-placed for a Tordesillas clean sweep, plus it gets bonus PI and conversion power) or Austria (day 1 lock on Emperorship, which you don't want to throw away by converting).

Protestant and Reformed (Coptic too, if you're feeling more adventurous) are just as strong and flexible choices for France as they are for England or any of the other historical Protestant/Reformed powers.

Castile is absolutely well placed to benefit from Catholicism due to the things you mentioned, and Austria too if it gets the inheritance and hopefully a union or two.

The reason I think France can excel with Catholicism is the method cardinals are chosen:
http://www.eu4wiki.com/Papacy#Cardinal_selection
Development of candidate province must be at least 10 (France leads the way from day one, Castile and Austria can certainly catch up and even overtake)
Total provincial base tax of all Catholic provinces owned by nation (Same as above)
Total provincial base tax of all non-Catholic provinces owned by nation (this means you want as few non Catholic provinces as possible and why I said Religious>Humanist to get the most out of being Catholic. This point doesn't benefit France particularly more than the others)

Playing as Castile now (I've restarted a few times to test), Aragon seems to declare subjugation on Navarra the vast majority of the time. Are the days of diplo-vassalising them over? Seems to me you might as well just let Aragon have the land as you'll get it with the Iberian Wedding later on anyway. Or am I missing a crucial part of the story here?

Aragon sometimes gets a mission to subjugate them so that may be the reason. I've seen England, Aragon and Castile all take them as a vassal in different playthroughs so I don't think anything has really changed.

As Castile, I'd still be minded to vassalise them because you may need their extra troops to deal with the civil war.

Is there a trick to 'All That's Thine Shall Be Mine'?

I took all the ducats of a nation (twice), with a greedy ruler, and nothing happened. Mind you, I thought I got the achievement a while ago, but it was listed as available and a chance so happened to pop up in latest run. And yet I'm still missing it.

HNY.

Unify Islam as Ottos.

Is there a list of provinces? Google just shows maps and I want to be very accurate.

What's the best way to deal with Dhimmi estate? Can I take all provinces, convert them, take the achievement and then conquer some heathens and reinstate the estate?

You'll need to convert them all for the decision, but indeed afterwards you can use them again for any subsequent heathen provinces you acquire. Estates are never destroyed, they just become invisible on the estates tab when they have no influence.

Can't you game the Civil War by shifting your troops to wherever they're supposed to spawn so you get the defensive bonus each time? I never needed anyone's help, but that was a couple of patches ago. Navarra seems a waste of a diplo slot (and eventual Dip Rep decrease) given you'll get them for free from the Inheritance.

Event rebels generally can be gamed this way, if you know where they'll spawn.

Alternatively, let them start sieging a mountain fort before you fight them - no cheese required (although there is the danger of lots of small stacks grouping up to make a monster stack).

I currently am playing as Prussia with Muscovy in a PU under me. Will Muscovy continue to embiggen itself eastward and/or become Russia with me as overlord? Is there anyway I can encourage it to do so? I know they have a colonist from their NIs, so they definitely can do it. It'd be great if one of the colonial powers didn't decide to eat all of the east side of Eurasia just cause Muscovy is stuck under me.

The will colonize for you. At least Vassal Muscovy/Russia and March Muscovy/Russia do so, so I don't see why PU Russia wouldn't.
They shouldn't be able to form Russia, however.
