Well, I'm merrily chucking along with yet another Holland game (I'm so OCD on my country of birth, seriously... Also, it helps it's just plain fun to harass the English and French :))
I can't say I'm stellar or anything... as a matter of fact, close to 1530, I have yet to embrace my first idea of the exploration group, let alone quest for the new world... And I just used a ton of diplo and admin points to develop Antwerp into accepting colonialism... (sigh). Military power as well... Antwerp now has the biggest manpower reserves of my country, and I just build a barracks :)

But, I'm feeling pretty good about myself.I absolutely annihilated an Oldenburg, Bremen, Anhalt and Lubeck (who seriously expanded btw!) alliance (trying to annex oldenburg), and now busy sieging out anhalt and then Lubeck.

I know there was a question somewhere... Oh right.

Yes, I have yet to pass a single Act. I can pass 4 or so, but I decided not to, even if they are advantageous... I seem to recall reading somewhere that certain events/other acts are tied to not accepting certain acts when they come around, right? I can pass 4 of them now, De Heretico Comberundo, Conventicle Act, Declaration of Indulgence, Act of Uniformity. So, am I right, are there events/other acts hinged upon accepting/not accepting Acts? And if so, is there information to be found somewhere on which these Acts/Events are, exactly?

Thanks in advance!

As England, I got the Trading in Tobacco modifier in 1496. I don't even see any tobacco producing provinces on the map, let alone own any. Is this a bug?
I believe it's a quirk of the way the upstream transfer of trade power works.

Some of the acts will increase the pace that the reformations appears. But thats about it.

AFAIK there is no acts or events hinging on passing the decisions.

You dont have to pass them all. Only pass the ones that you find will benefit you.

Is it possible to feed your vessel inside the HRE without your vassal returning the province when requested by the emperor? I thought being allied to emperor would work since I don't get the unlawful penalty myself. Does that not apply to my subjects?

It's not possible to feed vassals inside the HRE at the moment. The allied to the emperor relation doesn't apply to your vassals.

It's not possible to feed vassals inside the HRE at the moment. The allied to the emperor relation doesn't apply to your vassals.

A couple of extra points.

1. The Emperor cannot demand unlawful territory if the holder of that territory is at war. So, if you feed a vassal and remain at war until they have finished coring the provinces then they will hold onto them.

2. The vassal does not tend to consider your military strength when deciding whether or not to give in to the Emperor's demand. This is why they usually return the territory. If, however, you have a very strong vassal and a very weak Emperor then your vassal may believe that they can fight off the Emperor and his allies alone and in those circumstances your vassal would refuse the demand.

Has the AI gotten a bit dumber when it wages an offensive war? I've started a few Brandenburg games, and Poland has managed to lose its opening war with the TO every time. Lithuania has always joined them, and it has as many troops as the TO and LO combined. When the TO also allies someone strong like Hungary or Denmark, Poland loses terribly, which is reasonable, I suppose. The last game I played though, the only other ally was Mecklenburg, and Poland and Lithuania still managed to lose. Anyone else seeing this?

Yes and I've posted about this before in another thread. I think one of the issues is that the Teutonic Order has been allying with Denmark and Bohemia more, but I could be wrong when I state that that's the cause. I can't say that I'm against this change entirely since — in reality — Poland didn't gobble up the Order like it often did in game, but at the same time Poland does seem to lose more than win in my games.

I am currently nearing the end of my game (finally, after 500+ hours, a full campaign!) as Denmark -> Prussia and I've managed to conquer some land in Americas. I grabbed most of independent Brazil's land, which then got transfered to my colony (not actually mine, I'm no colonist, just got 1 colony from long annexed vassal Scotland) and parts of independent Canada's land. Here's the catch though - canadian colonial nation didn't form. Does this mean that once you conquer a independent non-primitive nation in the Americas you don't actually create a new colonial nation? All of the provinces I have in NA are in colonial canada and there are more than 5 of them, though they are a little split up. Even after peacing out of every war nothing seems to change. Any help? Should I just core this land?

Hey friends. I tried to get the Imperio Espanol Achievement today.
I started colonizing early but forming Spain (as Castille) made me break the Treaty of Tordesillas. It still says those lands belong to Castille.
Is this really working as it should?

It takes five core provinces in a colonial region for a CN to form so yes you will have to core. Or get an existing CN I suppose.

I'm working on making a large colonial nation to turn into the USA. The wiki says that I should be able to improve development and build buildings in my CN, but all of the relevant options are greyed out with errors to the effect of "you can't do that in provinces you don't own". Am I missing something (a DLC, perhaps? and if so, which one?)
