EUIII hasn't grabbed me like HOI II has but if i may be blunt for the sake of convenience it would be fair to say that HOI II is 'just a wargame' where as in EUIII global hegemony is merely one of many goals, yes?

I'm in the process of slowly making a mod for HOI II. Post post post post Nuclear War.

So, no nukes, eco friendly global death squads, bio weapons, still guns, no lazers and shit - think ALIENS, the film - that's set waaaaay in an intersteller future, yet it's gritty and man still uses ballistic weapons. Completey fictitious nations, the 3 alliances being Norvus Ordo Seclorum, Terran Liberation Front and The League of Free States and so on and so forth.

And then i had a crazy idea.

Why don't i do it in EU III!!

Then i came to my senses. . .

(Aside from being a heroic and daunting task, particularly for one guy with limited knowledge of Paradox Game mechanics and code, needing new EU III sprites etc etc) There's simply no way that the EU III engine can deal with HOI II style air forces, complete with pull down menu for different mission types, interdiction, ground attack, etc etc is there? IS THERE?!

Poosti.

HOI II needs more . .. flavour. . . more RPGishness. . . more um. . . cultural, social, stuff. . . and a sexier map.

Oh well, it still totally rocks.

Fans eh. . never satisfied.
