I have already spoken to Susana on your guys behalf. She has contacted Target herself to see what is happening. I have held off answering untill now because I was waiting till I could give you a definitive answer.

Update:

I just got a message from our distributor saying that Target (who does everything according to a fixed plan every week) will have the game up on Sunday as an endcap in the games section.

Not to be too annoying, but when you say "the game" its the CE, right?
And the CE will be available at ALL targets? Not just the Super Targets?

I know the distributor probably didn't provide such details, but just wondering anyways. Thank you so much for letting us all know.
I guess I can wait until Sunday.

Target stores are only carrying the CE version. My guess is that all Targets are carrying it, but I need to verify that.

Hi everyone,

I've posted in these forums before, but important information is always worth repeating. We set a shipping to stores date for all our products and the product is always shipped on that day (otherwise that is communicated via press release). Retailers then stock their shelves based on their re-stock dates. This is normal procedures for publishers our size and the only other way of doing thing is to have a fleet of people employed only to ensure that your product is physically put up on shelf.

Target is a mass merchant and as such sets its shelves according to
planogram, while chains like Gamestop and EB Games normally take in the product the same day it ships or the next day.

I've looked into the Target specifics and have received confirmation that the internal date to start stocking the Collectors Edition is Jan 29 so that should mean you'll start seeing the product in your local store within soon - they've certainly ordered enough so provided they don't run out....

Went to Target this past Wednesday and found two there, picked one up. Good package too. I love beefy manuals and the strategy guide is great too.
