Is there someone except me that would love to see these traits in the game. It would be a really interesting addition I think

I'd say exterminating a POP covers that already. At risk of sounding like a Nazi, things like forced sterilization and subversive eugenics on conquered peoples (or your own) would be cool for malevolent civilizations. Maybe an expansion?

Oh no, get ready for a Individualism vs Collectivsm debate again.Doesn't Individualism vs. Collectivism cover that pretty well?

Can you do this to advance races I want my army of dumb cannon fodder...I mean super solders.I think it was mentioned you could alter presentients or primitives you come across.
It's been written as an anticipated option; Uplifting a species with traits you find desirable, such as Natural Engineers to bolster your faltering Engineering research [maybe you have very few engineering research anomalies] or Very Strong pre-krogans to fight your wars for you.Can you do this to advance races I want my army of dumb cannon fodder...I mean super solders.
Seems like it should to me, and unless I'm remembering wrong, that's also what decides if you get to modify your people or if they will modify themselves.Doesn't Individualism vs. Collectivism cover that pretty well?
His point was about logic, not about what you've heard, but feel free to source that, since it contradicts my recollection as well as making no sense. From what I remember from press interviews, the spiritualist-materialist axis is what determines your POPs opinion modifiers on stuff like species augmentation. But more traits would be fun in my opinion.
Presumably he was thinking of eugenics in the sense of euthanizing people who don't possess the traits you're selecting for. Which is pretty sloppy honestly, even with last century's tech, you can just neuter them.Eugenics are already in the game: both positive and negative eugenics. I'm not sure why improving the species is the opposite of "lifeloving". You actually get some genetic engineering flavoured techs fairly early on.
I'm not quite clear on the distinction you're making. What is 'life-loving' and what does it have to do with eugenics? Is there someone except me that would love to see these traits in the game. It would be a really interesting addition I think

Are you sure the ''perfect'' man will be less sensible to disease ? With a mixture of different people, you have a big chaos, so many small dieases, and often you lost lot of life. But at least, one disease can not kill everybody.I meant like for example fanatic eugenics will kill like 50% of their offspring but in excange will have stronger soldiers, the opposite would be live loving which would maybe increase the offspring by a certain factor but also will make them somewhat weaker because there may be illnisses and stuff around. I didnt mean the change of the traits of a pop
