Paradox PM/Dev's,
Please establish an EU5 Forum, even if abbreviated with only a few sub-forum options, especially an EU5 "Suggestions" sub-forum.
Regardless whether EU5 development has even started yet, EU4 is such a central game to your portfolio, with so many customers/gamers invested in the game, that an early EU5 Forum would provide an outlet to gather some great ideas and also hear the community's feedback on what NOT to preserve from EU4.
Other reasons:
- Many EU4 threads sometimes devolve into comments of "EU4 bad, build EU5 now." Or tangential conversation of a "Feature" in EU4 that a gamer does/does not want to see preserved in EU5. These are data points that PDX PM/Dev's should start to capture in a more centralized location.
- The EU4 "Suggestions" thread is not the appropriate location to gather EU5 suggestions. Even the new Code of Conduct would suggest that we should isolate EU4 from EU5 Suggestions.
- Packaging. At PDX, you may already be holding strategy sessions and White Board events to plan/code some initial EU5 work, but you don't have a consolidated gamer feedback loop built specifically for EU5.
Make it a "Mini-Forum" - does not need numerous sub-forums, keep it trimmed and lean to isolate what you PDX PM/Dev's want to hear feedback toward. You could even make breakout Suggestion sub/sub-forums if you wanted specific feedback on isolated game features. Surveys could be conducted, etc.
