Eu4 Timeline mod does not work

Hi,
I have an issue: I downloaded Eu4 Extended Timeline Mod, installed properly into Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod. I have got the EXT_EU4v1.18-20170106T114615Z.zip, and the Extended Timeline.mod into this folder. I also activated the mod, there is a tick.


However, when I open the game, in the historical period settings, the extended events, e.g. WW2. does not show.

Can you help me how to activate it properly?

My game's version: EU! Rights of Man v.1.18.1.0 (Prussia) (2343)

I suggest you visit the official Extended Timeline Thread.
To do that, you will need to register your game into the forums by linking your steam account with your paradox account.

Thanks, I connected it, but I cannot view this page. I have a steam account but I did not buy Eu4 on Steam.

Can you tell me how to get the Extended Timeline Mod work?

If you want to play the game with mods you should buy the game first. If you somehow managed to purchase it without getting a Steam key, you should ask the retailer for a Steam key or a refund and then buy it from a legitimate site.

You've already been told what you need to do. There is zero support for a "non steam version".
