I just spent a half-hour trying to culture-convert all of Europe through console commands. The game crashed. Not doing it again either.

Is there any proper culture group that didn't happen? I mean of the groups that actually feel like groups(Latin, British, Iberian, French, Chinese as examples) quite a bit of the group pretty much ceased to be entirely.

Culture is a little messed up at the moment. I think that's a definite area the devs could look at fixing in the next expansion.

The culture groups in EU4 are a horrible mess. Basically, Johan has adopted the strategy of balancing the nations of the game by messing with other aspects of them (adding more cultures [wtf is ryazanian], moving around culture groups [RIP Wales, Brittany, Navarra, Sami, Riga, Miao, Netherlands, Estonia, Finland, Hungary...] and adding ahistorical basetax [Lithuania should have about 1/3 as much development as they do]) instead of just fixing nations with what historically happened and balancing them based on what happened in real life. He slaps the excuse of "gameplay over all" on it, despite the fact that nobody really understands what that means, and instead is a thinly-veiled way of saying "It's my game, I do what I want"

I am guilty of quitting eu4 for periods of time because I was too dumb to remember to save as if I was save scumming a jrpg.
