I'm trying to use the EU4 save export in CK2, but it's giving me an outdated mod (says 1.5, should be 1.6). How can I fix that? Is an update available?

Also, I tried changing the version variable in the mod file, which seemed to work fine, except that despite having maximum centralization, a vassal was converted to a vassal state in EU4, and my Reformed Romuva lithuania was put in the Muslim tech group. Why is this?

The new EU4 update is fairly recent, so the converter still needs to be made compatible with it. You can still play in 1.6, it's just that there will be some independent states in Ireland and some other minor changes. Not that much, really..

As for the tech group logic, I just don't know.

Yeah, it's not gonna happen. I mean, they've got one guy working on making the Save Converter compatible, and he can't possibly keep up with the patches in both games. People have been asking for the save converter to work for a year or more now, and it's just not happening. The support the converter needs just isn't there.

Integration of your vassals does not depend on centralization laws. With Conclave it is determined by council authority: Unless you have eliminated all council rights, your most powerful vassals will not be integrated. Without conclave the deciding factor should be crown authority.

Tech group should be dependent on several things, including religion and average tech in your realm. I don't know the exact breakdown, though.

This basically ruins the Converter for me; the AI rarely has total control in the late game and this means that everyone starts like France does in the vanilla 1444 start. This has serious implications for diplomacy.
