It's not really anything special, other key resellers like Eneba, Kinguin, Gamivo, etc. also offer EU4 for just under 2$, all year round.
If a member of the staff is reading this: I am curious to know what is paradox's opinion about these websites. Should customers straight up avoid buying from them? Is it any better than pirating the game? The keys seem legit (they activate on steam), but the prices are way too low, so something is probably shady there.

I'm sure Paradox, like pretty much every developer, is anti-G2A and other key resellers. They make nothing from the sales as it's a direct sale from someone who holds a key and the end consumer.

There is a lot of cricitism about G2A due to stolen keys, abuse of "promotional" codes obtained only to sell them, and people who are selling keys that they got from a stolen account or credit card. I don't know how rampant those issues are in reality but those are the common issues people bring up on top of devs making nothing.

Please do not buy from G2A or any reseller not in the link above. As said they are not authorised, we get no money from those sales, and you put your Steam account in jeopardy if they discover you have a key obtained by illicit means.
