EU4: Instant crash (Version 1.29.6 and upwards)

After starting the new launcher and clicking on the "PLAY" Button (neither mods nor dlc enabled) I see the EU4 splash screen and then the game closes. After the game crashes instantly the launcher has a little red exclamation point that says: "Launching the game failed."

The game has run on the computer already but on version 1.28.3. Since version 1.29.6 and upwards I wasn't able to run the game normally.
I have installed all the Microsoft Modules, I have added EU4 to the exceptions in Windows Defender, I have tried all the different compatibility options for the eu4.exe, I have uninstalled all other Paradox games (CK2, Magicka 1 and 2 all worked fine) and I have done multiple clean re-installs. Unfortunately nothing has helped.
I have followed all instructions that were posted in similar threads as well, but nothing seems to work. Is there anything else I can do?

Btw I am able to run the eu4_profiling.exe so it kinda has to do something with the new launcher.

I have attached some of the important documents. Thanks in advance for any help.

Launch eu4 using eu4.exe in the folder, this skips the launcher so normally works for me

@Battlex, thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I have the same error when I try to launch from the explorer.

did you clean out your documents\paradox interactive\europa universalis 4\mods folder? (make backup of your message settings file first maybe)some old mod files or whatnot might cause crashing maybe..
