We were skeptical because it seemed too good to be true, and their were a good number of oddities...

Nah, I did not mean to sound like I was criticizing anyone. From the start it looked pretty suspicious, but after I read it all then I'm saying I was convinced. It's good to have a record explained.

Not a record I can control but this is by far the earliest I have ever seen the Burgundian Inheritance fire.

Ive noticed Burgundy declaring a reconquest of Calais almost immediatly in most of my recent games couple this with the fact that their king starts as a general and you get the inheritance firing.

370k rebel stack.

Yeah apparently turning into Rev.France will spawn tons of rebels in your lands, including this stack. It wiped my 50 stack with a 5 6 general and only took 40k damage.

Also apparently rebels don't take attrition damage except a bit from the initial sieging/looting because that stack never decrease in size and I didn't want to fight it again after it wiped my stack stationed in the east.

Background: France was my rival for world dominance and posessed most of northern Italy, Scotland and parts of Scandinavia. Somehow the Papal States inherited France, but only had cores on the Papal lands in Italy. This gave them massive OE which allowed rebels to run rampant. Me, being France's rival, ofcourse abused the situation to make sure the blob would not rise ever again.
It also resulted in Holstein Nationalists running rampant (100k+ rebels) in Northern Germany, eating up small HRE states on their way. And in these insane army sizes in countries that broke free from Papal France.

The game was from 4 months ago, dont know if it still counts . At one point they had more than 1.3m but I didn't make a picture of it (I was to busy shitting myself being their primary conquest interest)
