Wait, so how can you ally CN's then?
By being animist, it seems. Improper relation checks, I guess pdox never though an animist country would get CNs.
What, is there a condition where you can't ally if you're Christian and they're a CN?
I've been trying to reproduce what would actually happen if you annex the emperor (after vassal-reform) in a war and not just through the console, but i cant seem to end the war even though i have 100% warscore (both from occupying and winwars-command)... I'm confused![]()
You mean you can't send a peace offer or you send peace offer and AI seems to ignore it? If second one, pause, send, tag switch and accept (if you will get game over screen choose observe and tag switch). I'm not sure why this happens, but I've had a lot of problems with testing things due to that in this patch.
I'm...pretty sure you can? This has given rise to some interesting things... In my tests I can't seem to demand the emperors last province in a peace deal, the tab is greyed out as if i had no territory occupied. I can make him a vassal though, which in turn sets his old vassals free, leaves the HRE intact but with my vassal Austria as the emperor (which shouldnt be possible).
Edit: further testing reveals that you cannot fully annex someone that has vassals. I did not know this![]()
I guess it's fine this time around, but please take proper screenshots in the future.I'm not sure if I meet the criteria, but I finished World Conversion on 08 AUG 1794 [typo fixed, thanks calvinhobbslik]. All of the settled provinces in the world became Orthodox at that point. There were still some totemists, shamanists, and animists kicking around in unsettled territory, but everyone else was Orthodox. I also had a later reversion of one province to Protestantism when I let revolutionary rebels break me rather than put down liberalism revolts and going Republic finally got me an event to swap a high BT province late in the game (even with -8, I would have converted it back a couple of months after game end).
I didn't take a screenshot at the time and this being ironman, I have only the final end save. So this is the screenshot from the final province acquired and converted (basically I abused HRE, Orthodox Ottomans, big gaps in theaters, and did heavy converting with the huge haul of bonus missionaries I had from owning Jerusalem, Rome, Mecca, Restoring Pentarchy, and Religious ideas.
Game was Ottomans -> HRE.
And man am I rich, I didn't even look at that after the 1600s.[/QUOTE]Fastest HYW win (I certainly hope so)

Not going to lie, this is a really incredible achievement. I certainly didn't expect anyone to be able to do something like this.![]()
Got the three mountains achievement, turns out I also did a pretty quick WC.
I got lucky and took out Ming in the first 40 years, and then I just snowballed from there. Would have finished 10 years earlier if I noticed France hiding on an island in the middle of the pacific. I also abused a mission for near infinite diplo and admin points, does that still count?

Well done man. The skepticism people had(or still have) towards your record is kind of a compliment to how special it is.
Yeah, this issue has been posted before. However, due to my lack of knowledge over what one can do in the game nowadays, I would only be able to do anything about it if people presented unachievable records with the reason that they are impossible on the thread or in a PM. If there are not too many records I suppose I can add in new categories. This is an awesome thread, for entertainment value.
But if you want to have something to strive for, it would be a lot more useful if these achievements would mention the version and the DLCs used.
I suspect that quite a few of these achievements are impossible in newer versions.
As far as I know, it is actually quite hard for a siege to go uninterrupted for an extended period of time. For that longest siege, you can just assault, sometimes it's impossible to finish.
Well, if you wish to prove that the record is invalid, then feel free. However, I am pretty much convinced of its validity. The skepticism is well-founded.
That's fine, I think. There doesn't seem to be any issues with it.Hosokawa to Japan Unification in 1455. I'm not sure if this counts, as there were a couple of bugs (Hence why I'm pink for some reason). As far as I'm aware I didn't use any exploits either, but I think they're allowed anyway (?)

Plus, I believe it is better to trust a liar than to not believe someone telling the truth
