However, I really don't feel like looking through all the pages for the previous record on Thanksgiving (Happy Thanksgiving to you Americans, BTW), so I'll just it as it is for now.

Managed to finish my old 1.1 Austrian Revoke Electorate Spam game using the release nation AE reduction trick. Didn't have anything to do from 1800 on so I built buildings and manufactories, leading to padded stats. I had so much manpower it broke the end screen.

Base manpower fluctuated a lot, this was at its height with the temp 15% buff.

I went so far over on manpower through events (there was one 163k, but I forgot to take a pic) and I got a bunch of them from 1800-1815, none after for some reason. I wanted to break 5 mill

All that glorious green... I integrated Spain, Portugal, France and the HRE all built up. Inheriting them doubled my base manpower.

East Frisia isn't a HRE state. It's pretty funny, and I like to keep them alive to the end, too.

Yeah, several people have now said something. I think I will choose what to do either by a poll or just on my own mind, sometime in the near future.
Any suggestions as to a solution would be appreciated.

EDIT: Shouldn't this also qualify for most casualties inflicted? the number of enemy infantry killed alone beats the previous record

Hm, after further inquiry on my part, it seems that you haven't actually beaten the old record. I think you might have confused the HRE formation and disbandment records.

If we're talking about requiring version numbers for submittals, does that mean the current records will be wiped? I ask because I'm trying to replicate some of them, trying to see how they did it and how to improve on it, and one or two unifications have already stood out as...suspect. With a fresh start it would be harder to doubt some of the records.

We did have this conversation before. Some are obviously unbreakable, like westernization and trade, and rely on things that aren't in the game anymore. It's certainly possible to beat the ones I just posted (I did not go balls to the wall post-1650), but would require more luck and to specialize rather than get all of them at once. But, they are probably going to nerf Austria's vassalization in the future which would put it completely out of reach. The records by version seem like a fine idea, though it could get messy trying to keep track of them.

I would probably just end up taking all of the current records, and give them a permanent place in the hall, regardless of the patch used, and then I would post a new section for records for the current patch only.

I'd like to suggest a new type of record: the most vassals and the largest HRE membership.

Total sum: 84 vassals, as Ethiopia. Game began in 1.2.x and ended in 1.3.x.

I'd love to see my betters creating an even awesomer and cosmopolitan HRE. The background is the coalition, other than a couple of revolt states (Haiti, Louisiana and Brazil) the rest of the world is either 'in' the Empire or 'in' the coalition.

Maybe I should challenge highest vassal income as well? That actually is my primary income in this game... IIRC.

I would like to suggest separating the records for HRE from others for fastest world conquest / largest number of provinces, as the current HRE mechanics makes a lot of difference to a conquest-oriented campaign. I have sort of a personal agenda here, so I would like to ask for the opinion of others.
