Hmmmm, I tried to beat the Italy forming entry, but I noticed now in my game that it is literally the fastest time that you can get due to the mechanics.

Someone did the Netherlands in 1502 as Milan with a gazillion of tech bonuses, the screenshot for the bonuses is somewhere in this thread...maybe you can try to follow this example.

It's been said numerous times in the thread that records wont be counted if the record holder doesn't personally say they want recorded. I have no doubt that DDRJake has broken tons of records posted on this thread in his Ryukyu AAR, he bended the game mechanics amazingly well. If DDRJake wants to completely smash the records here, he'll just post his AAR pictures, no?

Also I will add in my own update for fastest Romania unification.
Before i said I would not apply for records, but now I am allowing myself to claim unification records, at least, since they are rather fun to accomplish and do help me stay involved with the game.
Anyways, here's my Romania record. This also counts as a hint for other people who wish to better it. Apologies to Marilius for beating his record with a somewhat gamey strategy.
Also I will add in my own update for fastest Romania unification.

It seems like Romanian record doesnt have the 10adm requirement, much better so, more room for improvement.

I take it, the Romania thing has to do with rebels/revolts? I'm lost...Never played EU 3.
I assume he formed it with Ottomans, see religion.

This is most ships captured as far as I've seen in my game. I have no idea how to get more ships captured(maybe earlier naval combat is better cuz low naval techs = hard to sink) I just want to initiate the competition for this record
