Talking about the philippines; now in game is practicaly impossible to convert tc provinces without doing some tricks and thus is pretty hard to obtain the historical result of the convesion of the philippines to catholicism.
will you consider to rework the conversion of tc provinces in this update

If you need help with testing this, let me know. I'm by no means an expert but I have probably 500+++ hours on Madyas. I also have at least 80 hours on Madyas on a session of MP with the same 8 to 10 players over about 5 months at two sessions per week with no pauses allowed

There should be an event to give the Philippines a chance at conversion tk Catholicism like Japan. It's criminal that an actual region in Asia with historical conversions to Catholicism at such a large scale do not have the same event.

Spain can convert by a mission all provinces in the Philippines to Catholic if they conquer it, but it's so clonky that it makes no sense. As some have said, they need flavor events like Japan.

Thanks! I'm not really sure on what to do with the provinces currently. But I will post a screenshot here once I open EU4 in just a bit. I was supposed to add an estuary/Natural Harbor on Bulacan/Tondo, but I don't have any historical proof

Not sure about the Natural Harbor but Bulacan would indeed have its estuary... on the Pampanga River Basin - conversely Pangasinan, already set as a Natural Harbor, does have its own estuary in the Agno river basin - but these probably won't make it methinks
On the provinces though, I'm hoping to at least see Paracale/Camarines for the historical gold mine (and Bicol remained to Albay perhaps, and maybe have Mount Mayon in it for a volcano event), and Sambali (Zambales) added for an event/mission regarding a potential naval base (see Subic)... and maybe Mt. Pinatubo (also for the volcano event), but iirc it was Mount Taal (currently in Manila province in-game) that proved far more eruptive in the EU4 period after all.

Oh, yeah, Paracale already produces Gold and is under Tondo's control. If you have any more suggestions, let's just talk it over on this thread:

Hello! During the past few weeks, I observed a lot of people wanting content from the Philippines and wanted a formable nation and more provinces in the islands. Since I wanted to help and nobody was doing the initiative, maybe I could do it...

Because they are fun, fit my play style (don't like dealing with pesky mainland politics) and I like roleplaying as my countrymen.

It would be nice if Maynila, Maguindanao, and Sulu got at least the shared tree. I personally like to play Sulu.

The royal families of Maynila, Sulu and Maguindanao have the same root, their main ancestor was Sultan Bolkiah of Brunei.

I was quite hoping that at least Cebu, Maguindanao and Sulu get to have missions of their own. That would be cool.
