Also what would be even better would be if we could choose a particular policy with each different colonial region, coexistence, repression etc.

Perhaps a coexistence policy might make sense if we had a proper colonial supply system, or perhaps high attrition for military units in growing colonies.
Well, that's all for today: Short and sweet. Next week's dev diary will be a big one though, as we discuss the concept of diplomatic feedback.
I hope new diplomatic options will also include offering to join your ally's war when not called upon yet. CK2 already had this and I am sort of puzzled at why this option isn't also available in EU4.
It is there (sort of) under "enforce peace". You threaten the aggressor, and if they refuse, you join the war on your ally's side
Only works if they're the defender, however.
That being said, I feel requirement for coalition is too restrictive now.
Are you sure you don't just mean whatever it was they fixed in 1.13.1?I cant remember where, but in an earlier dev diary Wiz did mention that for the current patch, AE is bugged to be too low in accumulation (You're supposed to get much more AE than you actually get right now. Eg- It says you should get 30 AE, but end up getting 10 (I just made up those numbers)). However raising the coalition AE requirement has made it even worse for coalitions to form
That's good news, but I hope for the sake of my inner grammar Nazi that you guys spell 'coexistence' correctly in the game. Otherwise, I might go nuts and invade Poland or something.Native Policies lets you pick a single policy for your entire empire between the three choices of Coexistance, Trading and Repression:
- Coexistance Policy means that you respect native lands and try your best to coexist with them peacefully. It removes all native uprisings from your colonies, at the expense of slower settler growth.
Looks great so far. Just one small thing though. Could it be made to where we can name the wars that we declare?
“A Dev Diary is never late, nor is it early, it arrives precisely when it means to.”today will be new diary?
