AGEOD warfare is even more of a boring number game, to be honest. They do have neat features like logistic having a role, but EU would simply be too slow, if we had to manage logistic of every campaign.

They have a lot of nice wistles and bells, but once you understand what is going on, you will see even less interesting game, as AI is far worse at the game. At least based on my TEAW experience.

That's your opinion. I'd disagree completely

Scenario 3: You raze and return. A. If its a rival you cant sell province, so - lets say 5 new provinces on conquest - you return them via province interaction for -50 prestige and made no progress. B. You sell them and still made no progress.

Hordes can return uncored provinces at no prestige cost, IIRC even to rivals.

Absolutely. I'm very impressed by some CKII icons as well - proud (cat with dead bird),

...I never noticed that.

I feel like that -25% shock modifier is going to destroy the timurids, so now they cant stop rebels on terrible terrains in their lands which opens them up to attack on all sides.

Or at least I feel like to get the 25% shock modifier you have to have a group of soldiers with mostly cavalry to get it and receive the bonus and penalty. I mean I assume after you get some military tech thats ridiculously advanced your hordes would know how to avoid getting -25% just on the bases of their tactics have changed over the last 200 years because they now own firearms.

Rebels normally get most of the same modifiers as the nation's regular troops do. Do they get current shock bonuses?

Can`t you raze some provinces, while keeping others?

You could but why would you ? Early game you wont have the ideas and stab to completely remove rebels. If rebels are likely to spawn from 4 provinces out of 8, you might aswell go ahead and let them spawn faster via razing and grab the points while you're at it. You have to deal with the unrest either way.
Seperatism, OE, WE, possibly culture, tolerance and unity are very hard unrest modifiers to entirely circumvent early.
And once you're on the level of ideas/stab that rebels become less of an issue or are none at all, why wouldn't you raze for the points ?

What about: Taking provinces, razing, then releasing a vassal from ceded provinces or giving those provinces to a vassal? Wouldn't you get monarch points, no unrest and still progress (albeit not in an immediate way)?

I think most people vassal feed already in the current version. I guess you could feed even more ?

If there is more than one rebel faction, you could treat them differently. Simplistic example: you take two provinces with different factions. You can raze one and decrease unrest, while you increase unrest in the other. You face only one immediate rebellion instead of two.

I disagree with unrest in razed provinces since razing historicaly had the opposite effect in the razed area maybe reduces unrest there but increases unrest in same culture provinces of each razed provinces of a region of culture group ticks towards an event that make all the provinces in that group rebel with each province yielding 4-5 progress but progress slowly ticking down to stimulate the people's desire to escape from the tyranny of their oppressors

Will there be any changes to development cost? I know one of the earlier dev diaries said that Paradox is trying to reduce the frequency of OPMs and smaller countries with unrealistically high development. Scotland exiled to the Shetland Isles was the example used, but I can think of quite a few other cases.

While updates are cool they kinda decrease my desire to keep playing my current game :/ all great changes however.

OPM over-development is an issue, but how to fix it? Million dollar question...

I want an option to get the old mapmode screen. :/ I really didn't like the new one, it's a hassle going through all that stuff and selecting everything. I had no problem with all the buttons covering the minimap, which i almost never used.

I like the new changes, but I have to say that an uprising in a place you just razed seems kind of odd in my opinion because well you just razed it and most likely slaughtered everybody in it.

Not sure where else to put it but I have one request for 1.15... more individual national ideas, especially in germany (get rid of standard german national ideas), pretty please

NEW ULM ORDER. Seriously though, Ulm needs some ideas to go with it's sprites ^_^

EDIT: Will 1.15 be accompanied by Evangelical Majors?

Really liking the look of that new map hotkey behavior if it works the way I think it will. Am I correct that if you keep pressing the same key (Q, for instance) it'll keep cycling through however many map modes you have set to that key, but if you press a different key (W, say) then press the first one again it will jump back to the primary mode for that key rather than whatever it was on last? 'Cause that'd be great.
