Well, congrats to Bratyn, Meneth and Da9l for their newly aquired trophies. I'll say that all of them are definitely deserved, as is the order in which the top 3 came in. Meneth might have been the most powerful member of the central block, but you can't ignore that Bratyn actively encouraged that when the Canapé troops turned out to be stronger on the battlefield. I'm still a bit disappointed that Da9l ultimately played for bronze instead of gold (and I rooted for Bjorn for that reason), but getting that amount of accumulated score without a single VC is nevertheless really impressive. Still, please give Daniel a landlocked nation next time, so that he's forced to play a proper MP game.

Excellent play by Bratyn, Meneth & Dnote! delighted at that grand naval battle! excellent well thought out strategy of countering Fido in america for the louisiana VC, and the well exectued invasion of Britain that would have made Napoleon blush. Well done to Da9L for holding on to third by the skin of his teeth, and BjornB that just narrowly missed his chance at 3rd.

To explain the snipe at Katzalonia: Meneth had infiltrate administration on Neva Luki and saw their troops board Britannian ships and sail across the Atlantic. That's when I sent my fleet (which had been preparing for an invasion of Britain) after the VC to prevent Meneth from losing 2nd.

That move probably secured Da9L third place. Had you attacked him at that point, things may have been different. But I fully understand that you wanted to make sure that your first and second place is secure first.

Finally got my 3:rd place, only took 3 4:th placements to finally get it. Thanks for this campaign everyone! And to agree with everyone that has written it before in this massive thread, next time, I should be forced to play a landlocked nation even if we randomize nations!

Indeed. More than many others who really did SP only. But the military idea insanity of certain European countries made it impossible for many people to even try to compete. A 200k stack of @Groogy (that never even existed) would have probably been stackwiped by a 40k Luki-canon stack.
