Old ones are pretty exciting too, especially the amentioned game where StarNaN went with Austria.

Now it might be due to being so long ago, but IIRC the ones with ASpeck weren't that great, since he want into way too much detail while commenting which got a bit tedious for us veterans. Can't say with regard to the middle ones though, since after the first couple MPs I stopped following them until I started again with the start of the last one.

- wtf happend to Preussen (lost land to AI) and Gornja Siga (completely swallowed by Canapés) and how come that former eastern european alliance all got brutally beaten, except for Sherden who gained a part of the VC on Phrygia?
- well done to the Imperium for tripling the score. But where did the +500 development come from? just from Leon, Andalusia and Algeria?
- well done Katzalonia for the +65% development! I'm surprised to see Britannia expanding in Texas

Now the Central Powers might still have lost the initial war with Millhaven player controlled, but it would have been much closer since MIllhaven wouldn't have been out almost immediately then. After the war ended Preußen was in a really poor state. He then challenged Trin to a one on one, but DOWed before getting a reply and hence ended up being alone at war against the entire Eastern Hugbox. That sank him.

They would have pretty certainly won the war as it was with Imse as player. Her armies did not participate in any of the important battles and quite some of them were very close... Though maybe some more people would have joined against them if they expected Starnan to win to easily.

Thank you! Toulouse was 30+, leon was likely above 60, Tunis was above 70, Sevilla was 40+, Tangiers was 40+, Algiers likely above 50 as well, and then there was a -lot- of smaller stuff and the fact that I developed a -lot- with excessive military power. All in all I took virtually everything of worth of Vandalia's 600 development, along with the VCs Aquitaine was kind enough to sell to me.

Speaking of StarNaN, thanks, many thanks for making this session entertaining (although that suggestion for a 1v1 was quite cheeky ) It's actually a bit weird watching a game not dominated by you in terms of pure military capability, but the Neva-Lukis are scary. Fido did come up with his "new, special build" for this session as well, and boy, does it pack one hell of a punch! (#NerfLittleFido)

And I honestly don't understand why Da9l and DNote didn't pounce on Johan. Would still have been a bit dicey for DNote on his own, but Da9l was more than enough of a match, and after that it became an issue of carving up the land, with the Canapés a prime choice for a share of the helpings. But I'm not sure DNote is playing for the win, and Da9l's exterior focus seems to be more about doing the cool thing and not quite competing for the top rank.

Good thing Johan's one hell of a diplomat - he and Imse are going to be in a very precarious position come next week if things stand as they were.

Oh, and Vandals Vandalizing Vandalia was just too funny, even if it's the story of a player completely collapsing in one session. The stalled annexation of Sokoto only for them to rise up again was priceless (although they promptly got Lièged).

(Da9l, if you're going for cool things, please eradicate the last remnants of Scottish culture right before the end of next session, it would make the post-game and resumption of affairs in August just that much more enjoyable).

It is no secret that I had planned to attack Johan last session, but as I wasn't able to play things changed. Also being a little out of the loop I wasn't really sure what was going to happen this session, so a deal was made just before it to maintain the status quo.

This allowed me to focus my efforts elsewhere and tidy up a few things left over from the AI being in control for a session. Whilst that big war was raging in Europe I was also in and out of multiple wars myself, so I wasn't exactly idle with nothing to do.

Aquitaine has maintained from the beginning that is has no interest in the lands or the wars to its East. The only time is has been involved is because there was a side effect to it that was necessary. Also, Aquitaine now considers itself to be the Kingmaker, by supporting both the Imperium's and Britannia's claims on a trophy.
