The Tragulian people suffer under the rule of foreign tyrants. While our neighbors joined forces to partition our lands it seems the duplicity did not end there.
With horror we looked on as the former allies started fighting each other over the spoils of their conquests, and when the ruthenian people themselves rose against their masters we did not hesitate to join to deal the killing blow to the Rurikan despot.
As this age draws to and end our people remain divided and subdued but our state remains strong and determined to survive.
Tragulia is not yet lost!

Would: de vliegende raaf, (the flying raven) not be better? making it part flying dutchman and part a norse symbol.

but that wouldn't be correct in the meaning..

"The Raven Flies" is the important symbol..

Well, it's a good thing we had Chris and Jake in the booth, because this wasn't really all that entertaining a session from what the players were doing.

There was an attempt at alluding to the European Thunderdome, but really, that isn't what's happening here. There's not going to be back and forth in Eastern Europe, the way things played out made that extremely clear, and that alliance of stronger players used to working and coordinating together isn't going down anytime soon. It's just a question of how long it'll take them to get to victory.

Most entertaining moment for me was Friduric excommunicating everybody and their mothers for the hell of it.

Really good stream today, some unexpected swings in alliances forming, and the victory cards look to cause some potential friction, didn't expect to see a Nordic alliance forming, and a eastern bloc forming a coalition of somewhat to protect eastern europe, although looking pretty much like a paper tiger. The victory card friction between imse and starNaN is interesting, not sure if it's enough to break there pact of steel, and if imse is actually in a position to close the pandora's box that is StarNaN, being fickle for imse could prove to be a gambit that could balance the powers of europe, i believe an alliance was formed with Gnivom, perhaps has insurance, but StarNaN did one better and formed an alliance with Ihki, if memory serves. If that is the case, i don't see Imse rushing to the aid of Gnivom unless there is some grander alliance/coaltion is being formed in secret to edge Imse out, should a throwdown between StarNaN should happen for the victory card.

Here's a suggestion for terminology: since whatever permanent alliance @StarNaN is in is clearly never a hugbox, could we start calling it the "cuddle container"?

The mess in eastern europe is honestly really sad, so many players and they just let Starnan and co just build up, but it does look like it can get interesting. The middle east countries and Norse countries have their own alliance blocs and good room to grow. Vandalia (lots of room to grow) and the French/Italians are also pretty strong and can be another alliance (RIP Spain.) Bjorn and Rome may live due to distance but everyone else is dead. The wars later in the game can get interesting once the other countries are more established.

I am curious about the motivations in the East, I had assumed after the first session and the last campaign that containing Starnan would've been their top priority, but it seems not the be the case.
