Talking to Fido during the Tuesday beer it sounded very much like he was One Punch Man looking for someone being able to challenge him and that's why he joined the war against the Barrels in hope they would at least make him bleed a little.
Not sure why getting fourth place would turn you into a house, but, you've got more experience than me in that regardOR GET 4TH PLACE ENOUGH TIMES TO SEE YOURSELF BECOME THE VILLAN.
If I was an OPM, I would be the biggest OPM in the world right nowTalking to Fido during the Tuesday beer it sounded very much like he was One Punch Man looking for someone being able to challenge him and that's why he joined the war against the Barrels in hope they would at least make him bleed a little.
There's the problem, I don't like backstabbing and going back on deals I've made, especially the ones that are long-standing.I'm kind of disappointed that Fido doesn't use his incredible economic brilliance and doomstacks to try and be more of a potential top three. He'd have to backstab North Kuba-Luba which would be awkward, but after that he'd just need to maintain his alliances and convince his sidekicks to Persia Minor him to the top.
Personally, I could sort of have forgiven backing the "wrong" side in the Barrel-Alexandria war
...(I'm surprised by the low Kuba Luba Income, was he unlucky with the goods in Siberia or no Manufactures yet?)
We all got different playstyles, strength and weaknesses eh. But I still wonder, how will people deal with Britannia? He's rolling out of control with free hands on Asia and will be able to simply crush everyone through his revenue![]()
Considering he and Bratyn are the only ones with a real fleet, Bratyn is the only one that could contest him. But they apparently decided to hug it out instead![]()
People who watched the stream may have noticed how reluctant I was to call him in, despite his offers. It took years before I did. If the entire East hadn't banded together and turned my (intended to be brief) war for useless North-African territory and a revival of #VÄLFÄRD into something beyond any reasonable proportions, I wouldn't have been sent into Britannia's arms. Perhaps, if the other side wishes my help against Britannia, they should think of the geopolitical consequences of banding together against me to defend pointless territory, and realise that such an act might well cause me to seek more allies I would otherwise not have wanted. They could well have asked themselves the question of what was more important; a dozen 1/1/1 provinces in North Africa, or a powerful potential ally against Britannia.![]()
What is this "HRE" you speak of?so who will be come the H.R.E
great tragula or canapes. or wil de raaf vliegt become it.
Bratyn: "Well, if I can't bully the others by myself and my puppet Dnote, might as well find someone bigger and better to convince them to submit... I'll just blame it on them and the Da9L problem will sort itself out eventually"
That's _exactly_ what a puppet would sayI'm hardly a puppet, my fate may be tied to Bratyn, but he uses Meneth far more than me.
Blink twice if he forced you to say that.
The cossack units? The question, that probably will go unanswered until future development diary, is:
What were those golden units in Groogy's army we saw during the war with Romans and Uzbeks?
Can we assume it did not include the new guy? ^^
Because, wow, what a trap for him.... :/
@DDRJake jake I think the main problem of Aquitaine was to have missed a session at the start and be releguated a secondary power as a result...
wtill an anjoyable session, with some surprising results and indian contenders in 140 years?
