Eu4 - Crashing Multiplayer Lobbies When I Try to Join

Hello, I am currently having trouble joining multiplayer games. I have the normal version of EU4 v1.30.4.0 Austria (5d62). I also have no mods. Most times when I click to join a multiplayer game I get a connecting notification and after a minute it says connection failed. I also crash the server for the multiplayer game I am trying to join.

For the times that I do not crash the server and get in, the lobby lasts for about 5 minutes until the server is lost. I have tried shutting off my firewall and uninstalling the game, but those didn't work.

My computer has the following specs
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700KF CPU @ 3.80GHz 3.79 GHz
-16.0 GB RAM
-64 bit system

I am curious if it has something to do with my Operating system
My Window specs are
-Windows 10 Home
-Version 20H2
-OS build 19042.76
-Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

The server crashes when you join? That's quite interesting. Do you have special characters in your eu4 or steam username? Or is that name very long? Maybe you can fix the problem by choosing a short username which has only the letters a-z without any accented or otherwise special letters.

I did have a special character and just changed both usernames. I tried joining about 5 different lobbies and still crashed them all. (sorry to anyone in those lobbies reading this)

If you are up for some more tests, send me friendrequest on steam and I can host a few test games for you and see if you also crash eu4 on my system and maybe I can find out what it causing the crash.
