EU4 1.29 crashing

Hello All,

Unfortunately my Spain game keeps crashing since the switch to 1.29. I've attached the error files to this post. Is there a way to disable the 1.29 version to play on the prior version?

Thanks for your attention, and please let me know if I did not post this in the right place, or if you need additional information on the crashing game. I've been playing for 9 months and about 200 years so I'd hate to lose it!

Right click on the game in your Steam Library, properties, Betas tab. Select 1.28.3 from the droplist there.

You should probably delete the documents/paradox/eu4/settings.txt file and /gfx/ folder before running the older game version again.

Unfortunately, these ideas didn't work. I've attached the latest crash files for review. I was able to play an additional few months from the original fail point, but now cannot play past 11/1/1639.

I've got a crash that consistently happens in a game I started on 1.28 which was automatically updated to 1.29. It's an Ironman Aq Qoyunlu game, but this probably isn't significant. I've run the game from the most recent save several times, from a few months before the crash date right up to 1 day before the crash date, and the crash happens 100% of the time. It's repeatable in older or newer saves and happens exactly one month after a specific event fires. It seems to be the month tick after the event that causes the crash, not the event itself. The event I'm talkingabout is the new event which has some constituent part of Ming flee to Taiwan and establish a new country (Event is about someone called Koxinga) - I think that because of the situation in my game at the most recent save before the first time it crashed, this always happens during June, and possibly the month tick causes a crash relating to the presence of the new nation. The crash is just a straight up crash to desktop with no information. Maybe it has something to do with the fact their new Taiwanese country says "nogovermentname"? I don't k now.

I see, at this point I think you need to post the affected save in the Bug Reports forum for QA to look into. Them put that campaign aside, and try it as new patches come out.
