After many man hours and countless more testing, I am proud to announce that the second and new editor has arrived. For those of you who don't know, Eu3 Savegame Editor, by the title, is almost self-explanatory. Basically what you do is download this mod, start up the editor and then you can edit your savegames. Notepad is a very good editor by itself, but sometimes a little more explanation of the different fields would clear up a lot of the confusion. One thing that Notepad cannot do, for instance, is sort countries province within an easy to navigate form. I know, one of the main reasons why I have programmed this mod is because I hated spending the time to search for a specific country or a province. EU3 Savegame Editor fixes this problem by sorting everything so most everything is within reach in a few seconds of starting up the editor. There is so much more...

Savegame Trimming

If anyone is like me then their savegames take too long to load after the 1600's. That's why there is a savegame trimmer within the editor. Now you can shave that 26.8MBs Iroquois game down to a mere 16MBs, drastically cutting down the loading time.​

Global Editing

Now you can edit every country, every province within a matter of seconds. Want there to be the biggest wars that ever crossed EU3? Then increase the manpower of the countries and provinces. What about change every known province trade good to chinaware? Every country be catholic and every province protestant? All countries have a reputation of 100?​

Suggestions

Ever gotten frustrated that you forgot how to spell feudal monarchy or some other unusual word? Do not feel this way ever again because with suggestions, you don't know have to spell anything hard! Next to​

Adding Armies/Navies

You can create armies and navies as fast as you can click your finger. Within a minute you can have a 100k army ready to go against any enemy. Or maybe you get bored while doing a World Conquer and decide to give your enemy a 100k stack of cavalry. The possibilities are endless.​

Papal See

Annoyed that you aren't the pope or the fact that there is a crusade against you? No problem. You can have your nation become the papal controller in any circumstance. Or how about set a crusade against that pesky muslim nation?​

Graphical Representation

Now see what you are doing with settings and sliders as you are editing them. With every change in a field with the settings, the editor will show you what you are changing your game to. Not to mention showing the position of your sliders. Now you shall never again me plutocratic when you wanted to be autocratic.​

Compatible with MMP

The Editor can now parse your favorite latest (christmas edition) MMP game, and maybe make it a little easier on yourself?​

First of all, great work I love your program!

I was wondering (and maybe I missed it) but is it possible in your editor to change the tech levels of nations when editing save games? I've got a couple competitors that I enjoy fighting against but they are falling quickly behind in tech development and I'd like to be able to give them a boost.

If that's not included, is there another way to change tech levels of countries besides your own (and besides the invest land_tech (or whatever) cheat for your own country?)

That's like asking someone to unscramble an egg. A truly corrupted file has had random changes made to it and it is simply impossible to undo by any canned procedure.

This might sound silly, but I downloaded the file called 3.01 and it works; but I don't know how to find the save game trimmer.


EDIT: Never-mind, I guess I needed to download the one that started with 2 instead of 3; I just assumed three was better.

To Everyone:

This thread has been necromanced. I released this version approximately three years ago. Please see [thread=614457]EU3 Save Suite[/thread]. It's actually a combination of my two previous works: the EU3 Savegame Editor and the EU3 Stats Generator. EU3 Save Suite is currently a community preview, which is a fancy way to say beta; however, overall, it is quite stable and I recommend using it.

Due to this thread being necromanced, I'm uploading a new version with bug fixes (0.3) at this moment.

Edit: nvm me, wasn't paying much attention, you can change the sliders from the "Countries2" tab, left side. Info for anyone like me ^^
