So some or a lot of people have been complaining about the newest Eu4 dlc/update, is this the time for an Eu3 revival?

It was worse after Dharma with end game tags, religious conversion in states only and corruption from territories in my opinion.

People on this forum complain and complain yet they log 20+ hours a week of EU4. Go figure.

Indeed. I just wonder if that's because there's nothing to complain about or because people have just given up (and well, the forum feels kind of liveless these days, doesn't it?).
Why would a new update to eu4 make you play eu3, when you can revert back to previous patches of eu4? If you prefer eu3 anyway, then the latest eu4 expansion shouldn't affect that one way or the other. Makes no sense.

A lifeless forum isn't good.
But a developing game forum that isn't primarily complaints is a fantasy.

Actually the rise & fall of EU4 is very similar to what happened to EU3. Both run out of ideas, getting bogged down, & will not be missed when their successors come. An announcement for EU5 cannot come quick enough.
