I've taken a look at your work at the various times you've posted in the forum and I generally consider it okay. The video quality is sufficient and -- more importantly -- the audio is good. (Never disregard the importance of good audio in a video.) I personally don't watch long campaign let's plays so I'm not really the guy can win over, but I have I few points to make.

I actually think your commentary is pretty good. Sure, there are a few "faggot", "bitch", etc, and an quite unnecessary trail off conversation about Czech subscribers that I don't think adds that much to your videos, but I understand that that's mainly a thing that happens when you're trying to keep the talking going. Work at replacing it with something more worth listening to and you’ll be fine.

However, I'm not entirely sure if you're doing as much with the actual "play" part as you could. Your goal should not merely be about playing a game that is fun for you, but rather to produce a product for the viewer that is enjoyable to consume. As such, I think you’re limiting the appeal of you channel by playing on easy settings, taking few risks and taking a player-centric approach to your play.

You obviously know the game enough not to make the obvious mistakes, but you're not really presenting a thrilling challenging campaign as much as the types of low-intensity campaign one plays to relax for a bit. I might be wrong, but from jumping a bit through your videos, it looks like your playing without inflation, with minting always between 20 % and 70 %. In principle, I don't have that much against disabling inflation. After all, If you play with inflation, the AI tends to slowly cripple itself until it's completely dead by the 1600s. Still, if you as the player take advantage of the possibility of free minting (especially on normal difficulty without lucky nations), it removes one of the most important things about eu3, namely the strategic need to balance short-term success and long-term stability. If you can always build the armies you need without major consequences, it gives a large advantage over an already poor AI.

Essentially, I think it would be a little more interesting to watch one hour of a glorious attempt to fight the Hordes or a push towards Vienna (even if it was followed by defeat) than four hours of watching the Ottos not doing that much.

On a more technical point, I think your videos might flow a little better if you disable the pop-up auto-pause. I get that it might be necessary when you’re playing on 5x, but since you almost always delete the pop-up before reading them, it might be better to allow the time to pass instead of pausing at every message.

Thank you for your input! I am happy that someone has finally responded in that way. I've read your points and I will implement them into my video as much as I possibly can.

On the Ottomans, I think since I am .01 over my infamy a lot of people will be declaring war upon me. Even though I did check my infamy limit, and did the hard Algebra problem of adding 2. On this,"After all, If you play with inflation, the AI tends to slowly cripple itself until it's completely dead by the 1600s. But I am planning to do a Burgundy campaign on hard. If you want to see me actaually try check my Bavaria campaign.

Word of warning: I do have a different mic, and the resolution is wrong (since I did not know what I was doing) Also I was nervous with the YouTube thing.

This," Essentially, I think it would be a little more interesting to watch one hour of a glorious attempt to fight the Hordes or a push towards Vienna (even if it was followed by defeat) than four hours of watching the Ottos not doing that much." is coming soon!

Finally on the pop up thing, most of the pop ups were of allies joining the war (I accidentally deleted the part where you mentioned that).

I will try to cuss less and work with the awkward moments. Thank you for your wonderful input.

I watched a bit. and i got to say, playing on easy with inflation off takes away a big chunk of the suspension and entertaining value. Although the fact that eu3 is so old is a pretty big factor though, the singleplayer is quite terrible as a result of aging. So my tips are; 1. Change the difficulty/options, or 2. lets play a multiplayer run!

Cheers

Here is a new Let's Play that I have on my channel:

The mod is currently still a work in progress, so anything that seems out of place will probably be fixed in later updates. The mod is not public yet, but I had the wonderful opportunity to do a LP before the update. The mod is called Arvan Zuuny, which is the political situation of the thirteenth century. Please Like and Subscribe if you deem my content worthy!

Nice to see a EU3 LPer. As much as I like to watch EU4 it feels good to watch EU3 because it was the first Grand Strategy game I played and watching gives a little bit of nostalgia.

Thank you very much! I do have EU4 and I do enjoy playing it a lot. Just for some reason, I personally like EU3 better. I think I am one of those YouTuber who just play old games for some reason XD. I am just trying to get the support of this community, so if you do like my content please subscribe.

Thank you,

When I just played EU3 for 5-10 min my computer shuts down. It worked on my computer when I had Windows 7 but not now when I have Windows 10, is there anyone that have a solution to my problem?

Best Regards
Matt

Instead of putting your issue in this topic, you could've created your own xD , but I will help anyways! I am going to ask you if you have the Steam version first. If you do this is what I have mine set to (I have Windows 10).

Check your compatibility mode, which you do by right clicking your properties, and set it to Windows 7.

If that doesn't work, I would try uninstalling then reinstalling it.

Have a good day!
