Please add sandbox option with unlimited time-play but with no new technologies after 1821

You can extend the timeplay in IN by editing the defines.txt file and modifying the

end_date = {
year=1821
month=1
day=1
}

to whatever you like. There will be no new techs, so if you're at +3 stab you're in trouble, as ALL your income goes to minting, though. :p

Things were just... different. Sure leaders cared about politics. But they were also led by concepts which have much less meaning today, like family, heirs, religion, prestige, noble quarrels. But at the core, yes, setting up the stage for successful war is a timeless exercise.
Exactly. Politicians back then were just as intelligent (or not...) and good at their job (or not...) as modern-day politicians, but their cultural background and beliefs were different. They had different priorities.

Backstabbing an ally is generally seen as dishonourable. But a modern-day person sees the national interest as taking priority, and if betrayal will benefit the entire country, it's worth it.

Mediaeval and Renaissance people saw it the other way around. Wars were fought for the honour of princes, and nobody in power really cared about the best interests of the common people, the peasants and merchants and so on. Losing a war but preserving your honour was far more important to a royal dynasty than winning some dubious advantage at the cost of betraying your friends and staining your family's reputation forever.

Hmmm i'm not agree on this statement.
Altrought rulers have little care about their subjects, honor was more an illusion than a reality both in middleage than in renaissance.

Interesting. :)
I kinda feel sorry for the Magna Mundi team, though. They finally finish adapting MM mod to IN and are about to release a new version to fully take advantage of all the new features of IN, and now they've got months of adapting MMP2 to HttT to look forward to. :p
Plus, they've run out of precious metals. Maybe next they can go with Magna Mundi: Uranium? ;)

I think uranium is not prescious. I think they will take Diamond - it is more prescious...

• Many other additions and improvements.

If I may suggest another thing, how about this:

If one country controls a very large portion (say half) of the worlds supply of a single good price will increase. This adds a resource strategic component to the game without making it more complex for those who are not interested in this. It is also historically correct and realistic.

Add autominting to that list and I'll be in heaven.

You mean getting automint instead of a loan when hitting below zero but could afford the monthly expenses with minting? If so then approved 100%!

All you have to do is add another tech level with the average year far off into the future.

Or just change the last tech to an unbelievably long time to get...
