Hello everyone! I pick Fujiwara as the starting Daimyo to conquered Japan. As of August 1535, I have became Shogun and conquered every province with the exception of Kyoto. The province I own all have a core of Fujiwara. My question is, is uniting Japan really worth it? I am the only Daimyo left with all the shogun bonus.
Sankin Kotai:
National Tax Modifier +10%
Yearly Magistrates +0.05%
National Manpower +10%
Powerful Shogun:
Morale of Armies +0.10%
National Manpower +10%
Shogun Influence with 100% gives a +50% manpower and +30% tax on all province.
Also, I look on the trigger event that hadn't occurred yet called Sakoku law which gives +3 chance on missionary.
If i reunite Japan now, I will lose all those benefits you see above and just have the -50% naval force modifier removed and have Kyoto as my capital.
What'd you guys think? Should I reunite Japan or should I stay as shogun to conquer the other nations? Any insights on this would be much appreciated.
