Currently, I'm using three computers to play EU1, EU3, and EU4. One for EU4 and one for EU3, and one for EU1. On the newer computer I'm running EU4. In order to use only two computers, can I run both EU3 and EU4 on the newer computer at the same time...(the specs are fine for both)? If so, I can cut down to two pcs.

Wait do you want to:

a.) have both/all 3 games INSTALLED on the same (one) computer

OR

b.) run 2/3 different games AT THE SAME time (on one computer)?

In case of a.) yes, why the hell not. In case of b.) maybe, possibly, if you have a really good PC and like 16+ gigs of RAM.

I know for sure i can run at least 2 instances of EU4. Might be able to do even more dunno, never tried.

Actually, I just want to install EU3 on the newer computer. But, play one game at a time. Thanks

Well, I'd check the recommended system requirements for EU3 and compare that to your RAM and CPU usage while running EU4 according to task manager... that's assuming Windows?

I have 6 gigs of ram. I'll check the usage. Thanks

6 gigs?

That's a bizarre number -- RAM should only ever be installed in pairs, and I am unaware of a 1.5 gig RAM size or a 3 gig RAM size. I guess you could be using 6 1 gig sticks...

Or, he has two slots, one 4GB and one 2GB. Its just a mismatched combination, either he brought in ram from another computer or just got some cheap ram and didn't want to pay more.

For that matter, I have also seen 6GB laptops before.

I've been able to run CK2 and EU4 simultaneously on a mid-range laptop, so it should work for you fine I'd imagine. Paradox games are aren't very resource intensive compared to your typical AAA.

Install all and run all on the same computer....seems self explanatory. I don't see a question/problem?

Thank you.

6 gigs?

No, actually, in checking, my older computer is using 6 gigs...4 banks...2-2gigs, and 2-1gigs. Thank you for responding.

In my newer pc I have 2 four gigs...my mistake Thank you for responding.

For my older computer I did odd match. My newer pc has 2-4 gigs Thank you, again.
