For some reason since ive transfered everything to my laptop I cannot get EU2 to play the games. It goes through all of the main screens but when you click to start a game it vanishes and returns me to my desktop. Can anybody help?-

I can just say what I know:
On my Notebook, Acer 233CX, CeleronMobile2Ghz, 32MB Shared Grafikcard, 256MB Ram it does work....how old is your notebook ? Is perhaps the resolution not good ? So you have 1024*768 on your Windows, and EUII will start in 800*600 if you don't change anything...and some TFTs can make trouble with chance resolution... So try to have the same resolution on Windows and on EUII...but I'm not sure if this will help you, it's just what I think could be the problem...

Have you tried restarting the computer? On my laptop (HP Pavilion XF325, 1.1GHz, 128MB RAM, Windows XP Home), EU2 does exactly what you described if I have previously used Internet Explorer or Outlook Express. But when I restart the computer and start EU2 without having used either of those two programs, it works fine.
