EU2 want to play a colonization game

Hi there,

I want to play a colonization game, probably spain, or portugal.

I dont mind an easy game, just want to play this game again, I want to build colonies and stuff like that. And I do not really like the money troubles, so spain will be a good one I suppose.

Are there some mods I should really try that makes colonization very nice to do?
Or should I just play vanilla.

If you want to play Portugal, Europa Portugalis has some pretty crazy events. Be prepared to fight a lot of wars, though.

If you just want an easy time peacefully colonising stuff, Spain, France or Portugal in vanilla or AGCEEP should be fine (1492 start for France or Spain is extremely easy).
