If there will be some rational proposition how to repair BRA and compensate it for all the effects of lag loans and fake bancruptacy, I might be still interested in playing it. For this moment it is very dead.
What a great session. France goes from the pit of disaster to achieving great victories over its two neighbors and unifying much of its lands. Things can only get better from here.
The solutions for Brandenburg's troubles are, as I see it, these: We fix Brandenburg through edits(restoring its national integrity, removing effects of the bankruptcy, and giving it a stout treasury to allow for more adventuring), or move Hal to Sweden. The latter solution depends on whether CG is really going to have a playworthy connection by next week(or another player suddenly appears to take it).
I don't think going into debt was a bad thing during the first session. I went heavily into debt to finance the war, and to promote tax collectors, and am still paying it off, but it just subtracts from your MI. That's not a big problem.
