Nope. The last 3 weeks have been hell, and rejiggering my work schedule was basically at the bottom of my to-do list.
Also, my friend said he would be interested in subbing the OE today (I think he liked to look of its treasury in the stats page). He's pretty new to EU2, though, so be gentle. I've told him about all the files and stuff he'll need.

Sorry for the late notice. I'd forgotten all about the game until my wife reminded me this morning.
Holidays were very busy and I will need a sub this afternoon, but if TC might be able to figure out his work schedule and we might have a perm (whether this new fellow or Diablo) for the OE, could we postpone one more week? I shouldn't have any problem post-holidays.
If we can't, I suppose the Alliance would have to agree to the proposed general white peace unless somebody can sub Spain.

An epic session! Sweden finally won a war for Kopenhagen! And it is ours now! Swedes also managed to help Poland to take its lands in Russia back. We now feel like an empire! Hohohoho! (the only problem is we have no troops and no money ... :/ ).
So it looks like you guys did alright without me. My friend said there was the usual delays and lots of fighting, but it looks like the Ottomans didn't get very beaten up by it. He complained that he was wasting tons of money on merchants and his assaults kept failing, but otherwise good.

Well mainly because Spain wasn't there, so France got back at him once and we are now in the 2nd war. It was NL/FRA vs. Milan, then AUS joined Milan and England joined NL/FRA. Later OE joined Milan/AUS, guess new OE didn't know who helped steal Alex from him.

TC, does your friend have a paradox account or an icq # or some other way for us to get a hold of him for diplomacy?
It is apparent from the stats that Spain will require some compensation after having literally all the gold it would have accrued eaten up by interests from self renewing loans. Will have to estimate the rate of decline in income(affecting the 15 or so percent that was being directed into the budget), minus monthly maintenance expenses, and restore the money that would have accrued from this after the first loan repayment period, subtracting 9kD from this amount, and applying whatever is leftover from loan expenses - (census + budget income) back into tech. Plus restoration of defected territories.
