How the heck did you count all the events? I don't see an easy way to do that. But I'll guess 1200.
What I did is divide the size of the events folder with that of a small event file. The answer was close to 600 but the margin of error must certainly be high.
Windows Grep says there are 1536 matches with "ID = ", and since every event must have an ID, i guess this is the right number.
EDITED: The Right number must be 1533 actually, since Luxembourg has an event that is not working, and Bradenburg got 2 events that arent working either.
There is a grep tool in Windows?
I got 1533 too, by looking for 'event = {' strings.
