I'm looking for places where I can preorder the english EU2 at a moderate price, has anyone seen some places yet?

the preordering part will probably depend of the distributor but i'm afraid the moderate price will be a dream, and only that

Nowadays, with the internet especially, almost any game can be pre-ordered.

YUP I agree with you witte but I thin there won't be an pre-order because almost no game can be pre-ordered...

Good point . And I know I've preordered pretty small games before...It's essentially just setting aside an order that will be processed when they get the game, at least with games that don't have special pre-order plans.

Don't know if that is reasonable for your standards. I don't know if EBX (www.ebworld.com) is shipping to Europe

Sometimes its cheaper then buying it after it comes to stores. Possible because the companies know they sell at least X games. X beeing the number of preorders.

I am definitely planning on pre-ordering, and ebgames.com is the one that I always use. They have EUII listed currently as $44.99. I believe one of the good things about pre-ordering is that if you order it at a certain price, but the price increases later, you are still only charged for the price you agreed to pay.

Something interesting I just noticed... EB is letting broadband users rent Europa Universalis I at the price of $4.99 for 72 hours. That's at http://www.eb1.com

Where in NL is it being sold? When I was in NL the last time, I couldn't find it at the large malls or conmputer shops..

Everywhere it's still being sold for 50 guilders for example: Intertoys, Bart Smit etc.
