new version out
Good deal, all.
I hereby pronounce Holy World Factbook 1.2 officially available
here!
..........makes a silly dance.......
Not too much new stuff here, but enough to warrant new version number in my opinion.
You should definetly get this if you are using 1.06 version. And even 1.05 version because I fixed some bugs there.
changes to factbook version 1.2
Fixes
bug fix for power rating not using the value adjusted production
bug fix to show the correct number of provinces worldwide in summary section
bug fix to fix displayed wrong trading post info in EU version 1.06
Additions
Added a new output to go with worldfactbook.htm. It is a worldfactbookratings.txt, which is a semicolor delimeted file contain all the rankings. Could be usefull for those people that like to import things into excel and then filter, sort, draw charts on that data.
Added Current Geo-Political status in 1.2c. This was added so that at a glance a player could tell if a nations in question is having some problems at the moment. An example that I would give is a if a very powerfull nation but with stability at -3 or/and a lot of its possesions are not under that country control anymore (lost to rebellions or enemy armies, etc). This could be a good flag to indicate that this nation is not as powerfull at this moment as it seems and perhaps should be taken down a notch soon

. This new addon makes the Most Powerfull Rating a little more crowded so there is a "-nocgp" switch to not display it in Rating list if you so desire.
Added alliance ratings
Number of cities/colonies/tradingposts per nation displayed under nation Geography
Number of cities/colonies/tradingposts in world statistics
Files that were saved under version 1.06 and 1.05 and prior are treated differently. In 1.06 value goods
changed as well as forts costs so it is reflected in calculations.
New ratings, which also effect overall power ratings
- Most Advanced Infrastucture rating.(this is to give nation credit for spending $$ on
improvements) (more details on the factbook homepage)
.
.
Put it to good use.
