EU2, bought today. Can´t play

Ok, here´s the facts.
The game does install properly. But when I start the game I get the black screen, and then nothing happends. And I Ctrl+Alt+Delete the program. And when it´s gone the intro movie shows up, the one that sais "This game is for our fans" and after that the sexy elephant appears.
I have a 1,4 GHZ Amd Athlon, 256 ram 60 Gig HD and Windows XP Proffesional Swedish edition.
I have Directx 8.0

Help..

I looked dude, but i have no idea. Does it actually start after the movie? I am sorta confused on whats wrong.

It´s first completely black.Like the game wants to start.. But nothing happends, so i close the game. Then the intro starts (from the movie file, not in the game) the when the movie (with the elephant, not the intro) is finished it closes down and I return to windows.

I think you have a problem with the blink player. Go to the support forum.

old bug..
end task "binkplayer.exe", or skip movies by renaming "avi" folder to something else, like "avi2".

search for BinkPlayer on the net, and you will find the company web site. Dowload the player and it should work.
