BTW, how about we all agree to make this a (as Arco said) rp lite game. I mean, lets try to interpret (not follow history, but trying to interpret ours nations decisions and inventing some reasons for war ) mostly as it was made during the first Europe Unleashed except by the last session.

If this turns around as a mere wargame, I will end up losing the interest in it, as the thing that I liked most in EU Classic was the interpretative ways and relations betweens countries.

Not as Machiavelli, as we should not get any rules, only a compromise on having fun and writing AARs if want.

And, please, lets try avoid the dog pile alliance and the ethernal alliance trouble in this game

I think we are on the way, and last session of EU Classic was only ´cause of the longggg game and tiredness around, but I would like to see all agre with that (and with a rule that prohibits everyone to take venetian land, for balance reasons )

If we agre with that i will offer you a lot of fun as the venetians scheme to put nation against nation for his onw interest (Iam reading "How to Make the Most Profit when You are a Doge" by Hive).

Bah, the peace-loving Ottomans don't need to be dogpiled. We've simply extended our zone of protection and peace to cover certain areas that were previously owned by warmongering imperialists. It's enlighting to the catholic-heathens that the Sultan has shed his light on their lands.

This will involve even more missionary efforts particulary in China or Japan.

the one starting earlier appeals more than the other but i´d take them both. although the later it gets the less stable my connection seems to be. weird and sad but somehow true. the 10pm melchior lag. as you have named it.
