Well, I think that is the perfect statement to strengthen the resolve to fight Slargos in the long term. If any attacker will always live under the threat of retaliation by the powerful France (and it is a very powerful France), well it is not the way to make friends

Yes good session today, once we got over the rehosting. I was not used to play such a defensive austria, but its coming along fine now. I am looking forward to next session, where hungary will be reclaimed for austria

Well, we only are supporting the poor Austrians in his claim on Hungary.
And besides, as far as I can tell, the mercantilist act did a lot to harm relations with France
(no particularly with Denmark, since we do not trade in french COTs, we lost all our traders in Ivoria when our stab went down

Well, besides the fact that manpower calculations are not included in your comparation
, the simple fact that if a France that conquered several italian provinces is in war with a Austria that lost several provinces that same session, can make other countries to think that France is not the weaker party
