What expansions do you have installed?
Cradle of Civilization, Third Rome, Mandate of Heaven, Rights of Man, Mare Nostrum, Cossacks, Common Sense, El Dorado, Art of War, Res Publica, Wealth of Nations, Conquest of Paradise, Rule Britannia, Dharma, Golden Century, Emperor

Do you have mods enabled?

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
My laptop crashed and rebooted while I was playing the game. I got an error message when I tried to reload the game via PDX launcher's continue button saying it failed to load the save-file. So I manually loaded the save through singleplayer menu. I managed to load the game but then it didn't react to any of my inputs except for the pause button, which then did nothing but switch the 'play/pause' icon on the top right corner.

Steps to reproduce the issue.

Did you try to disable all mods except "Xorme - AI"? Maybe one of your mods is broken. I tried your old_autosave.eu4 and it works if I enable the "Xorme - AI" mod. I also get the checksum "c89d" in that case. Did you try to load that save with that checksum?
When I try to load the save without the "Xorme - AI", it crashes the game when I unpause(I think this crash is normal when deactivating the mod), but I think your problem is different.

Yeah, it seems one of the map graphics or UI mods is causing the problem. It's difficult to confirm because the game crashes randomly, it could run fine for a few hours before all the auto-saves end up corrupted. I had to ditch two games last night because of that. I'll have to check one by one or wait for all the mods to update, I think. Thank you for your help.

I think we are misunderstanding each other. Did I understand you correctly that the game does not work if you load old_autosave.eu4 which you attached?
I don't think your save is actually corrupted, because I can load and run the old_autosave.eu4 as long as Xrome AI is active. So I think a broken graphical/gui mod might prevent you from loading the save, but the save itself is fine.

Hm, I've tested it and the game crashes regardless of mods, even without any. Have you tried playing past the month tick?
