EU IV Catholic Majors Unit Pack

I patiently waited for my key, I know it's a discontinued dlc but it's 15 of july and I still didn't got the key that it was promised to me during december. (My account has been active and confirmed since 2014)

Have you looked in your Paradox Keys menu? It should be there, along with the CK2 one.

I don't think I recieved this one either during the time it was being offered. I don't see it in the Keys menu, I do however have the Evangelical Unit Pack for EUIV and the CK2 portrait pack which replaced the Catholic Majors Unit Pack.

It's a shame that it's been discontinued, means my copy of Europa Universalis IV will never be truly "complete" without it. I'm sure if Paradox decided to offer it on the Steam store, those without it would pay for it. I do not think it is fair that some players (long time fans included) weren't able to recieve it and now miss out on it whilst the ones who did recieve the Catholic Majors DLC also get a free CK2 portrait DLC.

That is the Catholic Majors one, so you have it. There also is an Evangelical Majors one and that was what we were supposed to get, but somebody made a mistake at PI and released the Catholic Majors files in the Evangelical download instead of the Evangelical so we ended up getting the wrong one. Evangelical hasn't been released to anybody yet though will be put for sale at some time. Don't know if Catholic is planned to be put on sale.
These free DLC campaigns are to get people to use the forums.

Oh that might explain the confusion then, so the names for both DLC were accidentally mixed up? Yeah might come at a later date then

Yep the names were messed up. Though they aren't messed up in the launcher or in the game files. There the name corresponds with what you got. It is the name mentioned at the key and the name mentioned in the OP of the free DLC thread. Doubt it ever will be fixed, since as mentioned where it matters (launcher/steam and game files) the name is right. Though perhaps they will do something when Evangelical actually is put for sale---whenever that may be given it has been ready for release since December. (Due to this mess up it has been delayed infinitely at the moment.)

Howerver, now that the "real" Evangelical Majors Unit Pack is out, I cannot see my Catholic Majors Unit Pack. It just disappeared. Mabe it has something to do with the naming? Because as far as I remember correctly, the Catholic Pack got named Evangelical Majors Pack when it came ot.

You still have the free unit pack we gave out as I can see it in your account. The free unit pack we gave now was Europa Universalis IV: Evangelical Majors Unit Pack, the one we gave out before had the wrong name.

Long story short: you have the free DLC for verifying your email and you can get the new free unit pack by searching for it on Steam .

It's the naming. Catholic Majors was a blooper. We were supposed to get Evangelical Major, but by accident got Catholic Major. Hence in your account atholic Major is labeled Evangelical Major.

The real Evangelical Major isn't shown on your account, but only in steam. You need to find it in steam to claim it. The DLC list in steam will then show Evangelical Majors twice. To make sure you have both packs you can always check in game to see whether the sprites are there, but the DLC list in the launcher should show both packs by their correct names. (It at least does for me.)

Thank you guys very much. This is just a great community with an even greater communication between developers and the fan base. Keep it all up. Though not having been posting anything I'm watching these forums for years.
