The true test will be when the game comes out and it is newly listed under the "New Games" menu.

That is when Paradox will get a chance to appeal to new gamers who is wondering "Hey! What is this game?"

I was sure EU4 would be a lazy adaptation of EU3, just adding snow in european winter, as I could see on some previews, and so waiting for Rome TW to be out. I opened btw a thread here to complain beforehand on how bd switzerland was designed and a-historical. After playing the demo, I pre-ordered the full game
Still, I want a Total EU5, allowing to play large scale strategy with close tactics and immersion, with a blend of nice CK gameplay

Dude, don´t flame on Rome II. It looks like it´s going to become the first good game of the Total War series since Medival II.
