With the developers showed us, I think that Vic, is way better than EUII and HoI, cause there is much more to do in peace time. And even the militar model seens better than HoI (learning with their rights&wrongs!).

My question is there is a chance that EU III or HoI II, will use Vic engine adapted, or there will be their own engine upgraded or they will create a NEW one?

I must say that Paradox can count me with every release, their games are mind-blowing, with countless hours of fun (and countless night without sleep!!!:D ).

They've had so many games developed on this engine I'd imagine it's time to start work on a new one. Or at least revamp the current one to make the map system more dynamic than the current one. I think many would love something were we could at least go in and change province names.

Why? Let's see...every game released on this engine is comprehensive, meticulously detailed, and well, amazing. :) To say nothing of comparing it to the sparse fare of today's so-called 'popular' computer games. If the engine works, improve it, but no need to replace it.

I think Paradox grows even further in their handling of these kind of games =

Step by step ...

Lukcy enough - for us and Paradox - they didn't make the same mistake as the MOO3 game designers =

Just because the games are good on the current engine is not reason enough to stay on the same technology. The Model T was a decent car that outsold anything before it. Why didn't Ford stop there?

While I'm being too lazy right now if you look at the forums and especially the modder forums for HoI and EUII you will see discussions that include the limitations of the engine. Maybe something that can be alleviated with a new engine? I do not insult the games, I only hope for something that surpasses what Paradox already does. :D

MOOI and MOOII. Enough Said.

I love EUII and from what I've seen, Victoria is going to be even better with the economy and population and political improvements.

If there ever is an HoI II I hope it covers something like 1910-1950.

HoI II???? why would they make this? what could they possibly come up with to make it worth their time and money?

EU III would be neat, because it deals with such a large timespan (unlike HoI) that all the things they could add to it would have a profound effect on the game.

I hope the time period stays the same or continues throught the cold war. But it would add many more unit tiypes have more options and be much more fun and realistic.

I don't know, if they made the HoI economic model as interesting as Vic's look to be starting a few years earlier (like 1930) would be nice and then it could finish around 1950.

They are so overpowered that they don't have opponents down here, so they seek challenge in space... well, at least in games :D ;)

But seriously...the anglo saxian (primarily American) fascination with space has always fascinated me! For instance...the first UFo-sighting was American (in 47 or something like that), and the number of UFO-sightings in anglo saxian countries are far higher than in other parts of the world. Fascinating.

oh...well...this is OT...sorry Sytass...don´t rain down on me like a Georgia thunderstorm. :)
