EU II 2.0 patch?

We can see lots of people sending ideas and waiting for the release of EU III... but is there any possibility that all those good ideas are taken and a "final 2.0 patch" for EU II is released? Its a great game after all, and even after the release of EU III there will be lots of people still wanting to play EU 2!

The only patch that would come out would only correct minor/annoying bugs. Stuff like leaderfixes...

Besides It's been 3 years since EUII came out, it's time to move on...

Seriously it's mostly fine as it is and most bugs can be worked around with mods and stuff.

Yup, I believe it was released in fall 2001...Anyway EU2 is pretty much fine with the latest patch so I doubt that we'll see anymore patches until EU3

First, you need to give some bugs and things "missing" before you ask for a patch, and that it has to be without modifying the game a great deal, like adding a whole new feature with micromanagement involved to use it, and that you need to give good reasons why they should be implemented.

Realistically 1.9 was it. (And I think they said as much.) Next stop is EU III!

And really, short of major rewrites I think we've taken EU2 as far as it can go, especially if you add some of the mods out there that improve the AI and make it more historical.

Yeah, it would be 1.1 not 2.0 (the newest one is 1.09) .

I think it's useless, now it's time to EUIII!
the patch would be one or other bugfix, so preefer a new game that one little patch!

But between each of EU2's patches, there has been several beta-patches. I guess that if they're counted, EU2 ends up with a lot more patches and assimilated.
