Yeah me too... two years ago I got a hallmate interested in EU1. We tried playing a MP game as Poland and Spain, but there were so many stability problems that we just gave up (also he was getting wrecked by Granada
). Since then I've been trying hard to get others to play with me, but to no avail.

I'm a CNE, almost MCSE, currently an email administrator working for an agency with 45,000 email users.
I play quite a few games. EU, Stars!, Age of Empires, The Operational Art of War, Axis and Allies, etc., etc.
My daughter, who is 14 and already a fox and you young'uns will never meet < >, tries to dominate the computer with instant messaging, emails, etc., etc.
My son (15), when he decides to pull his nose out of the Playstation2 and let ME play, likes to play Tie Fighter and Earth Siege.
My wife likes to email and pull songs in from the internet, or at least she used to before Napster disappeared. She does do a lot of internet surfing, though. She is not a game player, thank the Lord.
Be men. Demand you computers back.

My wife decided long ago that every computer game I play is stupid (except minesweeper and and couple others) .
She likes to play board games with friends however, although she plays like women do, i.e. she plays for socializing and chatting, while I'm here to win over these bastards at all costs. She usually ends up inadvertendly helping somebody else to win, and we spend the rest of the day arguing... What's fun is that I remember my parents acting exactly the same ....

You will notice thqt I did not demand anything. I'm real brave, I am. Plus, I'm expecting to get a new laptop from my employer pretty soon, Lord willing and the creek don't rise. Then, I can play while sitting on the couch and everybody else can do what they wish.
And, I am still planning on getting a new desktop, well, tower actually. Probably an AMD Athlon this time around, since the comparable Intel processor costs way too much. But that will be a few months away just yet. Maybe it can be my Christmas/Birthday present for this year. Then I'll have the new Athlon in the living room, and the old Pentium probably in one of the children's bedrooms, and I will have the laptop and we can all connect through the DSL switch.

Yeah, boy! Just remember that figuring is one thing, whilst actually doing would be another matter entirely. Especially when actual money is involved.
