With the latest Manchu patch I uninstalled EU 4, deleted local data and then reinstalled via steam. Unfortunately I cannot play with the new patch at all as when I boot the game it starts loading and reaches the main menu...so long as I alt tab out.
When I am tabbed into the game window it's completely frozen, I can't click on anything or interact with it, but if I tab out and then back in my inputs will have gone through. I have no idea what's going on.
I'm currently using all DLCs and no mods and would appreciate it if anyone has any insights.
EDIT: Well, I'm an idiot. It just seemed to be a problem with launching in fullscreen with the new launcher. Game runs fine when I launched it in borderless full screen.
