Is there any way to use the Jewish province in Ethiopia's lands to covert to Judaism?

Incidentally, does the idea set still refer to 'Beta Israel' (I think it was Coffee Houses of Beta Israel or something to that effect), or has it been fixed to properly address Semien?

When the tag/country is referenced Semien is used. In one of the later ideas relating to spreading the word of the Jewish Kingdom to Jews in the Diaspora the people are referred to as "the Beta Israel" however. Having one for the Kingdom and another for the people is as far as I know not an unusual usage.
No, I just thought 'Beta Israel' was an in-joke from before Semien was fleshed out. As constructive criticism, though: wouldn't it be better to use an Amhara or Hebrew equivalent of the word beta, since beta is of Greek origin?
Except that the actual Ethiopian minority in Israel is actually reffered to as Beta Israel, so it's use in that context is appropriate.

"Beta" in the local Ge'ez language means "House", meaning the people of Semien were members of "the house of Israel"
In fact, the Greeks got the name for their second letter of the alphabet from the original Phoenician name for it, "Bet", which also means "house" (Phoenician and the Semitic languages of Ethiopia being fairly closely related), as the original letter was shaped like a house.

On a similar note - Is the Jewish religion a bit... under-fleshed?
Tried a USA custom game with Jewish religion (because stereotypes, har har) and it felt like I was just another heathen religion. Conversion took ages, and the Jews don't really have much in the way of decisions to improve the conversion rate ala. Christians.

It shouldn't be a surprise that they prioritize a religion with no country of adherents behind, say, Confucianism or Theravada Buddhism, which have significant states.
There are other ways.
In my case it was a game based on wikipedia. Start with a random article and get with only 4 (3 if hard) links to the article of adolf hitler.
I remember a similar game we played at my school. Someone would come up with the challenge (Giraffe to Kleenex Tissues) and then two people would see who could make the jump in the least number of clicks. Lots of fun.
