Here is screenshot of my game 1941, i won war with Italy in February 1938, got somailand from UK by rebelion, but holy shit this tree is too long, i have almost only 70 days focuses left, there is no way i get my 2nd research slot before 1944 XD
this is impossible to get at least minimal eco(i have 6 civs and focuses gives too little for so much time

Fighting Italy is painful on this path for Jerusalem achievement and u have to fight UK yet or get ahistorical communist UK(i have fascist uk this game so i gonna beat them with US and USSR but still focus tree make it way too painful to play Ethiopia even again and i have like 2 more achievements to do.

Please can we get a buff for at least economy focus tree to be 35 at least half of them so u can get 2nd research slot before 1941? you can make longer panth to jerusalem or other politicals targets then, (Also first research slot on the left is too 210 days...)

Also needing to have control over all core states to even get started with industry kinda sucks. Most of the time I find myself in late 1938 still at war and no useful focus to go for so I just sit around farming PP for nothing to spend on.

yeah i had this issue in first path but for 2nd and 3rd time i did perfect choices but still these economy focuses are not worth of 70 days each and this is painful to play. It looks like first release Turkey when they had to buff it a lot to be playable enough

Having a strong industry is not too hard, it´s just insanely slow. Do the focus on the political path that releases all territories as puppets, then invest in them and let them continue their focus tree for a pair of years, then reintegrate them via decisions (75 PP each territory) and you well get a Chad Ethiopia. The process however is SLOW, and you need to kick the italians first to get to the right decisions, so expect to not be able to do the whole process before WW2 ends.

For the Crusader Kings IV achievement, I got it although I don´t know how. I conquered Yemen and Saudi Arabia, attacked the UK and rushed towards Suez/Jerusalem with camels, formed the Solomon Empire and...save scummed until I got the achievement letting the AI get my cores in Ethiopia.

Edit: Forgot to mention that you can´t lose your cores in mainland Ethiopia BEFORE forming the Solomon Empire, as they are required to make the decision, and the AI troops will eventually overwhelm you in Jerusalem if you do not move all your troops there to defend.

making puppets is too slow and your country shouldnt be all time ruined

look previous dlc Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia got great tree that they can have good eco to beat USSR and Germany, this is so dumn that player at Ethiopia has to suffer after winning war with Italy when it takes so long time to win war 1,5-2 years...

That can only be done on the monarchist path though right? Also isn't it only a specific path that gives you that option?
Anyhow, the regular industry tree gives you 5 civs (2 from the first focus and 1-3 from the finisher of the investment chain) and N building slots after 8 foci/ 560d which is a bit underwhelming for the time comittment doing all those foci plus having to spend a lot of time manually investing into each state for the bonus build slots.
