Sorry if there already is a thread about this, but I could not find it.
Recently, I started a game as a xenophobe/authoritarian/militarist empire with the 'conformist' trait for my pops. I went on playing for a couple of ingame years only to find out that a faction was created by a spiritualist. At this point, I still only had my capital planet, which according to the world trait should have a 100% government ethics attraction. Together with the conformist trait, how can there be pops with other ethics?
Further ingame, most of my pops were of other ethics and their factions started to spiral out of control. Can someone please tell me if the fault is entirely my own or if Paradox hasn't got its ethics attraction system working correctly.
By the way, it also takes a looooong time to convert pops to other ethics either through the attraction system, suppressing factions or indoctrination. I know suppressing factions is not for converting pops, but come on... I don't want these ethics in my civilization (mostly for RP purpose).
